Independent [L4] STEAM Members can perform their Tech Role duties independently from the other Supervisor [L4+] Techs, and can solve minor problems when they arise. They will be tested on their specific Tech Role duties. They will now need to show that they can communicate their knowledge, by training Shadows [L2] and Supervised [L3] trainees.
Independent [L4] STEAM members will be able to represent the STEAM team on paid events, only when a Certified [L5+] member is also scheduled. We take this STEAM representation seriously, focusing on high-quality standards and excellent customer service.
Independent [L4] STEAM members are NOT authorized to make changes (outside of the setup checklists) to any tech environment (including the stage) without a Certified [L5+] member's presence and direction.
- Receives access to STEAM Coffee & Snack Bar when scheduled.
- Receives a STEAM Training Hub account and access to the training library.
- Receives a Planning Center account and starts to be scheduled for events/services.
- Receives a STEAM Polo or Jersey, when available.
- Receives opportunities to work paid events representing Suncoast STEAM.
