Once the STEAM member graduates to a Shadow [L2] training level, they will be able to sit and train with a current level 4, 5 or 6 STEAM Tech (Supervisor [L4+]) on their specific Tech Role. The Shadow [L2] trainee is not supposed to touch the tech equipment, but exceptions are made to enhance the learning curve. During a rehearsal event, the Shadow [L2] is encouraged to ask questions and take notes to gain as much out of the experience as possible. During a production event, the Shadow [L2] must act like a shadow and cannot talk or distract. The Shadow [L2] may only observe and take notes, preferably behind the "food & phones" tape line. They will have an opportunity to ask any questions and get clarification after the production event is over.
- Learn our System on the STEAM Training Hub, and build relationships with STEAM Team & Worship Team.
- Learn the scheduled Tech Role (using training methods [M1] through [M4]).
- Receives access to STEAM Coffee & Snack Bar when scheduled.
- Receives a STEAM Training Hub account and access to the training library.
- Receives a Planning Center account and starts to be scheduled for events/services.
